Cub scouts earn adventures that are specific to their rank. Six required adventures and at least one elective adventure must be completed in order to earn their rank. Attending den and pack meetings throughout the year will allow your scout to complete these adventures.
During the year, your scout will complete adventures during pack or den meetings or at home with your family. You can log your scout's progress using the BSA app, Scoutbook. Be sure to download the app on your Apple or Android device today and link your accout to your scout!
As of 2024, all Cub Scout adventures are available to view online! It is not necessary to purchase a scout manual (although you still can if you want to!) Click on the button for your den to see what this year's adventures hold! #AdventureOn!
Your scout can also earn special awards or recognition. The list of current awards available to cub scouts is here: https://www.scouting.org/programs/cub-scouts/what-cub-scouts-earn/other-youth-awards/
Wearing your uniform shows everyone that you are a Cub Scout. Think of it as being part of one of the largest teams in America. Wear your uniform to pack meetings, den meetings, and special activities when you are with Cub Scouts. There are times when you are going to get dirty in Cub Scouts; for those times it's okay to wear a Cub Scout T-shirt.
To purchase your Scout uniform, visit www.scoutshop.org or visit your local Scout Shop in Pleasant Hill, CA.
Our pack has T-shirts available for sale, ask your den leader about availability and costs.
